I'm trying to get turtle_bot simulation working and when i run roslaunch turtlebot_stage turtlebot_in_stage.launch
. This is running from a virtual machine. I get the follow error, any ideas how to get past this?

This seems likely an issue with graphics drivers and rviz. To narrow things down, I'd try running rviz alone instead of the whole launch file. Note that rviz has some good troubleshooting tips that you should try as well.
Looks to me like you might be running in a virtualbox VM.... is that right? If so, that likely points to the issue being caused by problems with the VM. There are tons of posts out there about OpenGL errors with VMs, and you might want to start researching that issue.
