Why does my Gazebo process died when I try to run an Image View command?
I've been trying to get my robot to view images through it's camera function. However, as I try to run the command, 'rosrun image_view image_view image:=/mybot/camera1/image_raw', my system starts to crash and both my image view and gazebo hangs. I've been following this tutorial but I just can’t seems to solve the issue. Any help with be greatly appreciated.

Are you running this in a virtual machine of some kind? VMWare/Parallels/VirtualBox?
