When I first open a terminal window I get stuff like this with "kinetic' still stuck in it. It causes other errors:

bash: /opt/ros/kinetic/setup.bash: No such file of directory
bash: (same as above)
bash: /home/ju78iklo9/mybot_ws/devel/setup.bash: No such file of directory
bash: /opt/ros/kinetic/setup.bash: No such file of directory

I want to go and edit the above file and replace a couple items, like make "kinetic" be "melodic" and since I had rebooted the home directory change it in the above to ju78iklo9Ubuntu I was easily at kinetic Intermediate level before I had to stop training a few months ago. I'm back, and so much to do with ROS plans. Any help is appreciated John

Have you checked your $HOME/.bashrc for the incorrect lines?
