Problem publishing to topic via rqt_gui

Hello,

I want to verify my pid values of my controllers using rqt_gui. But when I try to publish a message to a certain topic and plot the data I get a strange output. If I set the published data to 1, the command data always jumps between 0 and 1. Firstly I thought it is because of the publishing rate, but when I set it to 100 it still doesnt work fine. I don't know why it is like it is, do you know why? I also thought it could be visualization problem, but when I tried rqt_gui with rrbot it worked perfectly fine.
