Hi, I have tried to install install velodyne driver ( http://wiki.ros.org/velodyne).I have followed #q226594.

when I launch catkin_make I obtain the following error :

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/5/../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/libpcl_common.so: référence indéfinie vers « GOMP_parallel@GOMP_4.0 »
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Have I missed something ?

Thanks for help

Pierre

You don't tell us, but which OS is this, and which ROS version are you targetting?

If you're using ROS Indigo, please consider installing the binaries (ie: sudo apt-get install ros-indigo-velodyne).

Please also make sure you don't set CXX_FLAGS in your .bashrc or similar. The error message points to problems with how OpenMP support is being activated/linked.

Many thank for our help : ubuntu 16.04 and ros kinetic no CXX_FLAG in .bashrc maybe something missing in LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/ros/kinetic/lib:/usr/local/cuda-8.0/lib64
