Has ipv6 functionality been integrated into mainline ROS?

Hi all,

Has ipv6 functionality been integrated into mainline ROS? Or is it a separate ROS package (ros_comm6?) that needs to replace ros_comm?

I essentially want ROS_MASTER_URI and ROS_IP to work with ipv6..
