Is meta-ros maintained any longer, is anyone putting in some work?

Hello!

It seems like meta-ros has not seen an update in quite some time, the issues are staggering. There is neither support for kirkstone nor humble (though I have been able to get the layer to work with kirkstone, but not from superflore, I was doing the changes by hand). Does anyone know the status besides what I could find here on discourse stating that meta-ros support has dropped?

Thanks and Regards,

Matthias

Afaik, LG stopped working on it last year. At that point it sort-of languished. Victor (Mayoral Vilches) hinted at being able to take over (at least some of it), but I'm not sure what the status there is.

I just published a preview of my port of Humble to Kirkstone. You can find instructions for building ros-image-core here: https://discourse.ros.org/t/meta-ros-...

Hope this helps!
