snap: slam-toolbox
I read that running nav2 via the snap is up to 10x faster. Is there any guide on how to use the snap installation in a launch file?
Any tip is very welcome.

Spatio-temporal voxel layer to avoid 3d obstacles
Why is the map underneath flying all over the place. Please look at the video link
tf2 view_frames under namespace
Dynamically control EKF robot_localization
GoalUpdater-bt_navigator-behavior_tree Updating a goal to /navigate_to_pose not responding
Local Costmap's Obstacle layer not detecting obstacles
Nav2 ComputePathToPose throws tf error because goal stamp is out of tf buffer
Costmap creation from 3D mapping
Are you saying nav2 will run faster when you install it using the snap package-manager? I would find that hard to believe, can you provide a link to where you read it?
I am wondering too. It is mentioned here: https://discourse.ros.org/t/announcin...
On the other hand - here it mentions that no speed up to be expected.

Interesting, in the second link I think it is saying that, in general snaps are not faster, but in this case it is. So maybe it is faster. Unfortunately I don't have any experience running nav2 as a snap.
Well, hopefully someone comes by who can give a hint. I want to start the nodes from the snap together with my other nodes and supply my custom configuration.
At the moment I have everything in one launch file.
