using two rplidar for SLAM and NAV2
I'm new to this. I'm using ros2 galactic. I'm trying to build a manipulator differential drive mobile robot using Ros2 and nav2 in order to navigate autonomously, and I want to use two rplidars one on the front right corner of the robot and the second on the back left, so I was wondering do I have to merge the data from the two rplidars or I can just publish the data to the same topic ?
I don't think two Lidars are necessary and before trying to make the robot arm attached onto a autonomously navigating robot I would first learn about the autonomous robot first then the arm
