Hokuyo utm-30LX usb setup
Hello, I'm just new with ROS. I'm using ros noetic. I wanted to ask how to connect the lidar with usb? I tried udev but it give me error. Can someone help me and I need the solution in urgent. Thank you.
What error are you getting? And what instructions are you following?
I'm following this http://wiki.ros.org/urg_node seems like the usb not detected. I tried to find using dmesg in ubuntu but still the usb not showed the sensor.
Check the output of
dmesg
after connecting the laser sensor.Is the LiDAR turned on? Also, can't you take the option to connect via Ethernet instead of USB?
