First message publish to a topic takes too long

Hi,

I am making some measurements, in which I publish to a topic with a particular set of QoS policies and I measure the latency from the time a message is sent from the publisher to the time a message is arrived to a subscriber.

To my surprise I have noticed that the first message takes much more time (than the following 1000 messages), 20ms vs 2ms.

Does anyone know why might be?
