Trouble installing on Ubuntu (latest) in docker [closed]

xclock- > works cat /etc/apt//sourc -> is found add-apt-repository universe add-apt-repository multiverse add-apt-repository restricted -> enabled apt-get update run and keys setup.

What I find is ros-desktop, not ros-melodic desktop. But installing that does not include roscore ? and I could insltall rviz which cannot connect to master ...

So what package contains roscore ?

Is the wiki outdated? What could I have missed ?

If I understand correctly, you are trying to install ROS melodic on Ubuntu 20.04 is that correct? If that is the case, please consider closing your question as duplicate as there are already multiple questions covering this topic: #q351321 and #q350668.
