Tango ROS Streamer: the app cannot connect to the ROS master URI

(repeating)
We are using Ubuntu 14.04 with ROS Indigo. We are also using the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro as the Tango device. We downloaded the app from the playstore.
I have the exact same issue; I cannot connect to ROS master URI.
Same issue from the "ROS Sensors Driver" application which I also downloaded from the playstore.
Did you manage to fix it?
Yes, we managed to fix it by substituting the master URI with the IP address of our computer.
