How Hector Autonomous Rescue Robot Detect QRCodes?

Hi

I am using Hector_slam package for mapping and marking objects and Now I need to add QRcodes Detection to it.

anyone knows How can i do this job with darmstadt Ros packages?

Currently you can't, as we have not released our packages used for QR code detection yet. The underlying semantic worldmodel is released however, see the hector_object_tracker package. More detailed documentation is in the works, but will not be available till after RoboCup due to time constraints.

The hector_qrcode_detection package which we also use for RoboCup is available in the hector_vision stack now: https://github.com/tu-darmstadt-ros-pkg/hector_vision .

Thank you stefan,

after detecting Qrcodes i need to mark objects in map by hector_object_tracker. i have added object_tracker in my launch file, and i am using your rqt_rescue plugin in this address: irrw2012/source/browse/trunk/rqt_rescue_control_plugin/lib/RescueControlDialog.py#59

but when i click on "Add victim in front of robot" button, in running launch file terminal, it prints this line:

[ INFO] [1370900109.430975931]: add_object service called for new victim object in frame base_link

and in rqt termianl it prints:

service call failed

and after saving maps, no mark added to the map. what should i do in this situation?

@stefan Can you share the documentation regarding the hector_qrcode_detection.I am not able to do the remap from the /image or /image_raw. No data is being published in that node and also there is no topic running in it.Can u help me for sorting this out. Thanks in advance.
