hector simulation very slow [closed]
Hi;
I'm trying to install Hector_Quadrotor simulation environment for 2 weeks:) My goal is try a lot of control algorithm over quadrotor stabilization and navigation. I hope I'm dealing with right simulation platform.
I downloaded GroovyGalapagos image for VirtualBox. I'm able to start Hector Demo with this command; roslaunch hector_quadrotor_demo outdoor_flight_gazebo.launch
But simulation is very very slow. Real time factor of gazebo is about 0.35. My PC has q9400 2.6ghz, 256mb 9800gt, 4gb Ram. Virtual machine configuration has 1core, 64mb video, 1gb ram.
How can I use the simulation more reliable? Thanks in advance..
