Machine with curve constraints

I must model a machine in which one of the joints is constrained to slide on a curvilinear path

Does ROS offer any tool to deal with such a system? It seems that URDF only supports prismatic joints that slide along a straight line – are there any extensions that allow to describe, simulate and publish the state of robots with more complex constraints?
