Poor wiki search? [closed]
Hi. This question is not for ROS, but for search engine of wiki. I was looking for "ros install for beagle board". So I typed in the search on ros website "beagle". But there was nothing useful results.
However, very suprisingly, when I typed in Google search engine it gives following result.
http://www.ros.org/wiki/BeagleBoard
What???? Why the ROS wiki search engine so bad? It is serious problem because there is no page that describes all the page of ros. So search engine is crucial. However, what a poor search engine!
I've also noticed that the wiki search is pretty bad. I've found that unless you know exactly what you're looking for, google usually works better.
Right... Why willow garage does not correct this?
This might be a question for @tfoote, or could warrant a ticket being filed.
The wiki search is google site search. Not sure why it's was having so much trouble. It seems to be working better now.
