Beginner: Launching Gazebo [closed]

I am new to ROS as well as Gazebo. As I am studying the Gazebo environment following the tutorial,I am trying to launch it using "roslaunch gazebo_worlds empty_world.launch" as explained in the tutorial (roscore is invoked in another window). The problem is that I get the following message:

I have installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS- the Lucid Lynx with ROS Fuerte

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me get this going as I need to have a working system soon.

Are there any error messages that either precede that message or are in the log files it's listing?
