install kinetic on macOS sierra show continuously [opencv3,pr2_common/pr2_description] still active
mac os sierra , mac book pro this command wstool init -j8 src kinetic-robot-wet.rosinstall from tutorial http://wiki.ros.org/kinetic/Installat... lead to continuously repeating message [opencv3,pr2_common/pr2_description] still active
I tried stop and start process again with wstool update -j 4 -t src
it make some downloads and again show this message
how can I fix it ?
how long have you waited for it to complete? opencv3 is a large package and may takes 30 minutes to a few hours to compile depending on how fast your processor is
I wait for a whole night to make it however when I look at the "top" there is no any load on my processor.
That definitely sounds like it's stuck somewhere and not building.
last update after installed opencv3 the command wstool init -j8 src kinetic-robot-wet.rosinstall it show just this message "[opencv3] still active" repeatedly [opencv3] still active ... [opencv3] still active
how can I collect more detailed info about problem and then post it here ?
even i was stuck there , however it completed in about 15 minutes.
hi there, after I read comment from nikhilk I tried to repeat process. now it doesn't take much time and I complete it. It seems something was changed in installation script for macos. nikhilk thank you for notice :)
