Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has used Beam+ telepresence robot ( https://suitabletech.com/beam-plus/ ) as a research platform? As far as I know the robot is ROS based, so would it be possible to add more functionality (e.g autonomous navigation) to the robot?

Thanks.

Beam+ is not based on ROS and to the best of my knowledge is not an open platform. I don't think it's suitable for research.

Intriguing; I was not aware that there was a ROS bridge for the Beam+. That looks like it might be suitable for some research projects.
