I have tried everything but still unable to ssh into robot pc [closed]

I have search high and low but still can't find away to get ssh to work... I have dropped the firewall, sudo ufw allow 22, sudo ufw allow ssh... nothing works. On my destop I ssh my robot and it prompts me for a password... I enter my robot's password and I am greeted with "permission denied, please try again"...

Curious when I enter this on my robot "sudo ufw allow ssh" I get a message stating "skipping adding existing rule (v6)"... To me this looks like my system won't allow ssh connections? Why? I am stumped... can anyone help?

This does not seem like a ROS related problem.
