How can I change packages when they are already installed in my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS? I am using ROS Hydro. I had installed http://wiki.ros.org/rl-texplore-ros-pkg . It is working fine. But I need to change the package for some reason. I tried by changing src files only in installation path but this did not work for me. How can I change the installed package then? Please guide in detail.
