To any of ROS_PACKAGE_PATH. Normally its in your home folder, catkin_ws/src like folder, please check yours and just paste there and try.

I'm publishing Float64 type msg via rosserial python node to ros and I want to subscribe those messages. But the python code that subscribing Float64 msgs gives error and now I Float64 cannot convert to float.. Is there any way to do this? I tried with strings and convert it to float. But it failed.

HI all, I have an Arduino UNO and a dual H bridge MOSFET motor driver. I want to control two motors using this controller and Arduino via ROS(Fuerte/Groovy/Hydro). I can write a sketch to arduino just for run motors (digitalwrite & analogWrite). But I want to know how to communicate Arduino & ROS. Can I use ROSARIA instead of rosserial_arduino? If yes, please give me a clue to write an Arduino sketch.

Thank you for the reply. ROSARIA is running on computer. But I don't have arduino sketch to connect to the ros node. I want to send command to Arduino using ROSARIA. But for that I need a sketch. I couldn't find it and have no idea about write about new one.

HI, I want to make my robot move using Arduino (with hand made motor controller) and ROS Groovy. The problem is I have no idea to connect ROSARIA to Arduino for this. I have installed ROSARIA and I can toggle I/Os in arduino using ROSArduinoBridge. I planned to use kinect and build a map using it. Can anyone tell me how I should write a code for Arduino to support for ROSARIA? What is cmd_vel?

Thank you Balto for answering. I'm using ROS Fuerte. So there is no rosserial_arduino or I couldn't find it. Then I manually copy & paste the things inside ros_lib folder to /usr/share/arduino/libraries/ros_lib/ & gave permissions. Then it worked.
