I think I have to use interactive markers in order to add names to all markers. Is there any other way to do it because I dont want to make an interactive marker server and interactive marker file in order to just add names.

@Martin Günther Do you have any idea how once can add a text/name to a marker in rviz. Mostly inorder to distinguish between different markers in rviz. btw I am using Marker Arrays.

I have searched extensively on all the tutorials but I cannot find out how to add a name to my Marker. I have a marker array and want to display different names on every marker in rviz. Does anyone have any idea how this can be done.

I am new to ROS and want to learn more about it. I want to display 10-15 moving objects in rviz and I want to do it with Marker Arrays. I looked over the documentation on the website and found it helpful but I still believe I need more knowledge. Can anybody who has already worked with Marker Arrays give me his package/code so that I can play around with it and understand it fully. I mean package with all files so that I can easily run it on my computer and check its work.
