I think this could be related to the OpenNI issue reported here: The workaround mentioned there, which was to manually kill the unresponsive '/usr/bin/XnSensorServer' process which is spawned does allow me to get past this problem (i.e. the "InitFromXml failed: Got a timeout while waiting for a network command to complete!" error.) (Once past that one though, I hit the next error.. "Find user generator failed: This operation is invalid!".. but that seems to be a separate issue, which is discussed here: OpenNI/NITE incompatible in Fuerte/Precise ) |
