How to launch multiple robots in gazebo simulator and how to setup navigation stacks for such a simulation?

There were already some questions and answers for the subject, like: here, and here, and here. This is my question and answer to summarize the discussion in one place.

Although it is possible to make it using rviz plugin I don't believe its what you want to achieve. Rviz is a tool for visualisation of what is seen by the eyes of the robot, via its sensors or cameras.

I think that the better place for putting animated objects is the simulator gazebo, where you can build your own objects to be the part of the simulated world.

Won't help. It's internal problem on the turtlesim/tutorials page.

2012-10-13 05:01:46 -0500 answered a question ROS.org - how to switch to English

There is something wrong with the wiki search that creates that page. Must be corrected by the site administrator.

As quick workaround just delete the ja phrase from the url of requested page like this:

http://ros.org/wiki/ja/ROS/Tutorials/UnderstandingServicesParams

change to:

http://ros.org/wiki/ROS/Tutorials/UnderstandingServicesParams

and you will see the English version.
