2016-01-20 08:33:05 -0500 | commented answer | apt-get doesn't find ROS packages at all Have you had any luck with this? I have been having the same issue for several days now. This is the first part of the tutorial that hasn't worked. Can we just download each package from the source instead? |
2016-01-19 08:05:28 -0500 | asked a question | adafruit 16 channel servo driver package After a bit of a web search, I have come up dry on a ROS package for the Adafruit 16 Channel Servo Driver Board. It wouldn't be difficult to make one, I just want to make sure no one has seen one before I reinvent the wheel. Go to this link for the board itself. I'm thinking a simple subscription node that sends the necessary I2C commands to x40 from a RPi, and maybe a GUI joystick node that posts a topic with the 16 servo values. If anyone has seen it, please let me know. Thanks! |
2016-01-18 08:11:48 -0500 | commented question | Raspbian Jessie ROS INDIGO download image File was corrupted when I extracted it with 7-zip. Any advice? I can try to gunzip it instead |
2016-01-18 08:11:47 -0500 | answered a question | Raspbian Jessie ROS INDIGO download image Forgive my ineptitude, but I used 7-zip to extract the file, had to append .img to the file so that my image writer could use it. Raspberry Pi didn't even bring up a display... nothing... I know I'm doing something very dumb so please help. I'm trying to mount it from Windows. Thank you! |
