Hello,

Can anyone explain me where is the difference in between .dae files and .stl files?

I am not sure but i always thought .stl files are used in ROS and .dae files in Gazebo, but im not sure!

Hello dear Users

I have a Catkin Workspace. I have installed a package called Universal_Robot. After installing it i wanted to modify the launch files so when i launch it and when the robot spawns into Gazebo it should load up the world i have created with the model builder in Gazebo. The problem is that the files i have modified are saved in the root, /opt/ros/indigo/share/...ur10.launch for example. Is it possible to do the same modification but not on the root, however in the Catkin_Ws!

Hello Dear Users,

I am trying to add a Hokuyo sensor to the UR10 Robot Model, then to be able to load that model in Rviz and simulate it in gazebo.

QUESTIONS:

1)Which Files to modify? 2) What Code to add? 3) How to open it up in Rviz move it and see the Simulation in Gazebo.

I have installed the package Universal_Robot that ROS offers us however i want to modify the model by adding a sensor.

The tutorial pr2_robot isnt helping me!

Hello there dear ROS users,

I have Modified an UR10 Robot, however it is SDF format and is placed in my desktop. How can I load this Model in RVIZ and control it in means of making it move! IS there anyone who does have a clue im posting this question every time and i dont have an answer yet!

I have an issue. I have a Robot Model File .sdf of the UR10 Robot, which i have modified and attached a Sensor to it. My question is: How can i load that model in RVIZ and move it, and see a simulation of that Robot in Gazebo.
