2014-10-19 13:35:30 -0500 asked a question rviz::Display does not exist - what package do I need to add in Indigo?

Hi!

I can link ok, but when I run I get an error from the PluginlibFactory. Any ideas why the rviz library doesn't have the Display type defined?

Thanks!

2014-10-19 04:23:30 -0500 asked a question node_manager_fkie rosrun node_manager package not found

After pulling from git and doing an apparently successful catkin_make (and catkin_make install) I can't seem to run node_manager! When I do

rosrun node_manager_fkie node_manager

on Indigo, I get error: package 'node_manager_fkie' not found.

Any ideas about what the problem might be? Any other ROS parameter server GUIs you would recommend?

Thanks!

Steve

2014-10-16 06:02:49 -0500 asked a question build rqt from source?

How do I build rqt from source on ubuntu/indigo? Instructions on using a catkin workspace on the ros wiki page are incomplete. I'm looking for just a few instructions like mkdir build/cd build/cmake ../make etc (those that exact sequence doesn't work here).

Thanks!

2014-10-16 06:02:49 -0500 asked a question How does one build rqt by hand?

I want a custom version and don't want to just do a build and install. Build instructions on the rqt page are incomplete. Building as per sudo apt-get hide what I want, and the referenced tutorial on catkin/Tutorials/using_a_workspace refer to directories that the repo doesn't have. I'm installing on indigo under ubuntu 14.04. Thanks!
