2014-08-21 12:39:20 -0500 | answered a question | Package installation issues I used sudo cp to copy the rosfalcon folder to /opt/ros/fuerte/stacks/joystick_drivers/ and now whenever I use roscd rosfalcon it can find the package. However when I run rosdep install rosfalcon, I get the following error ERROR: the following packages/stacks could not have their rosdep keys resolved to system dependencies: rosfalcon: Cannot locate rosdep definition for [libnifalcon] I have installed libnifalcon. Do I still need to install the package? Am I doing something wrong? |

2014-08-18 17:27:03 -0500 | asked a question | Package installation issues Hello all, I am using ROS Fuerte and I want to get the Novint Falcon working as a joystick in ROS. I found this: https://wiki.qut.edu.au/display/cyphy... . I was able to download the files but I am unable to install them. I have a folder with the src folder and various other folders. How do I actually install this? |
2014-08-18 15:07:22 -0500 | answered a question | For new package downloading I tried the same thing as joq stated on ros fuerte to install the rosfalcon package for the Novint Falcon. But I get an error HTTP error 404: not found when I use the roslocate info. I downloaded the .tar file for libnifalcon but I am not able to install it. |
