make sure all ROS_INFO gets to /rosout

I would like to get all my ROS_INFO, ROS_WARN, etc. message from /rosout (or /rosout_agg) but I it many of the initial messages do not make it there (which is expected according to http://wiki.ros.org/roscpp/Overview/Logging). Is there anything that can be done about this (e.g., some way to wait on the connection to /rosout to be established before using ROS_INFO perhaps)?
