Current camera_pose functionality?

Hi all,

I'm looking to do exactly the use case of the camera_pose package: get the pose of a Kinect relative to a camera mounted onto a robot. I'm using ROS Indigo and it looks like there's no version of the package that is supported for recent ROS releases. I can't get camera_pose to run on Indigo - should I be able to (I get dependency issues trying to run the current code on github)?

Or is there some alternate package now that I should be using?
