Camera/Depth_Registered/Points - Update Rate

Hi,

Does anyone know whether it is possble to increase the frequency of updates for a particular topic.

I'm trying to run both the autonomous mapping function for the turtlebot (amcl_demo.launch) and the augmented reality / marker stuff from ar_kinect.

When running the autonomous navigation package the local and global maps update reqularly and laserscan seems to have no issues with an update rate of around 30Hz, however when I set a PointCloud 2 to the camera/depth_registered/points topic it takes an eternity fo it to show up and then only does so in a random and infrequency manner. Around 0.001 Hz.

I have depth_registration set to false, not much I can do about that as autonomous navigation fails with it set to true.

The ar_kinect package can work in this configuration, but its random sparsity indicates to me that it is working probably incorrectly.

Any help is appreciated
