ros-fuerte-simulator-gazebo ERROR [closed]
Hey all, After being unsuccessful on 11.04/Electric now I decided to install gazebo on 12.04/Fuerte. I run the command "sudo apt-get install ros-fuerte-simulator-gazebo" and I get the error: "E: lock the administration directory (/ var / lib / dpkg /) is not possible, it is used by another process?" then I googled and found that I should use the command "sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock" and then "sudo dpkg --configure -a" when I try the second command it displays message "Building Matlab extensions (logfile at /tmp/gdf-mexbuild-1373894475.2AcBQkg)" and does nothing, I checked it for more than 7 hours it halts on this, even though my net connections is working.. Can somebody help me installing gazebo on fuerte, in fact I want to use Slam for mapping in gazebo. Thanks for your help. regards
