How can I integrate Gazebo with ROS Groovy ?

This post is a wiki. Anyone with karma >75 is welcome to improve it.

I have Installed ROS Groovy. I have also installed Gazebo. Do not know how to integrate it.

I also installed simulator_gazeebo on ROS groovy. when I am running it using

roslaunch gazebo gazebo

its showing error: not able to connect with master

The error "not able to connect with master " usually means you didn't launch the master node. You have to enter "roscore" in your terminal to do so.
