Unable to locate package ros-fuerte-desktop

Hello

When I am running sudo apt-get install ros-fuerte-desktop-full I will get the following error > E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. I am using Ubuntu 12.04

This is not a ROS problem. This is an Ubuntu problem. Try this:

sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

Then, edit your question to include the output of the above code. The two statements above might actually fix the issue.
