How to move a .model (For Beginner)

Hi there, i'm new here, but I made my .model wheelchair. And now I want to move it using keyboard or something else, but I don't know what I need to do now. Waiting for some help... Thanks

I suggest you start from the turtlesim tutorials

What you need in the end is to have some logic behind your graphical model, that way you can move it around with the keyboard.

Otherwise you may just publish a static tf once you've built an URDF for your model, and have RVIZ display it.

Thanks man, I have a problem to install RVIZ on the 'fuerte' version, the 'groovy' doesn't run here :(

post comments to continue discussions, this is not intended to be a forum. As for your problem you should ask a new question and state more details like the distribution. I have rviz fuerte running on my ubuntu 12.04 machine without problems. While it doesn't run at all on a 10.04.
