I'm using ros-fuerte distribution in ubuntu 12.04 i have tried the cmd sudo apt-get install ros-fuerte-camera-umd

It displays the message

Unable to locate package ros-fuerte-camera-umd

So will u please tell me how to solve this

Can you tell us what package you are trying to install? I am not familiar with a camera-umd package and not sure that it exists by that name.
