How to install fuerte's latest pcl(1.6?) on ros electric?

I use electric, but I need to use the latest pcl(1.6).

So I want to install fuerte's pcl stack on ros electric.

How to install it?

perception-pcl-fuerte-unstable maintainer here. You'll have to build it from source, and troubleshoot whatever problems come along from not being on Fuerte.

This may, or may not, be straightforward.

Out of curiosity, why Electric?
