turtlebot3 goal cannot be reached

I am looking for what topic(s) the turtlebot3 navigation package uses to show data about the reachability of a goal, as in if a plan can be made to that goal. I ask this, because many times in RVIZ, I see a visual representation of a path to a goal, but on the terminal, I see some sort of "goal cannot be reached, path planing has been tried several times"(I'm paraphrasing).
