I try to install nvJPEG and nvCOMP on Ubuntu 20.04. So I created a new Ubuntu 20.04 Distro with ros1 (noetic) on it. There I wrote some basic Webcam Stream nodes. My next goal is to Compress the Images via GPU acceleration (nvJPEG nvCOMP CUDA). I tried it several times following the steps on github, bud couldn't get it finished (https://github.com/NVIDIA/nvcomp, https://github.com/NVIDIA/CUDALibrarySamples/blob/master/nvJPEG/nvJPEG-Decoder/README.md). Do I have to install CUDA before? Is there any Tutorial showing how I can use any of these two libraries with ros? Thanks in advance.
