How do we create our own move_base?

How do we create our own move_base for autonomous navigation. Is there any complete tutorial for that?

Because I like to study move_base in depth. And I like to modify the move_base and increase the accuracy.

Oh, you want to modify it, got it. Honestly Nav2 for ROS2 might be more interesting because A) ROS 1 (and to an extend move_base) reaches EOL in 2025 and it would take a lot of time to get familiar with and B) Nav2 is designed better than move_base (you always learn tons from your first attempt, right?). It's easier to work with/modify and ROS 2 doesn't have an EOL.

Just something you might want to consider. Also, as a bonus C) There might be interesting topics for you to contribute to Nav2.
