Doubt if the use of rosbag is appropriate in my application

I had begun to work with ROS2 for a short time and I'm needing an opinion. My situation is the following, in our company we are developing an embedded system that will collect sensor data in the field for some months (maybe a year) and after it will return to our client's company for recovery and analysis of data. Each day the system will generate hundreds of MB, each field mission will generate hundreds of GB.

In this scenario is recommended the use of rosbag? There are other packages that can be used? The system needs a storage redundancy, each day the database needs to be saved in an external storage media, rosbag possibility of this?
