how to get the robot to stop on gazebo?

Hello everyone, I am doing a model of a table that has a revolute joint. I am controlling the robot with the right tool called joints and then with position. After giving the desired position the model won't stop in this position. Do you know what is the solution for this problem? I am using an sdf file to describe the model.
