autonomous robot
Hello,
I am making a indoor autonomous robot, but I am unable to make it possible. I know ROS Basics, and made a environment in Gazebo and made a robot using URDF but I don't know what to do next.
The indoor environment is a factory, the robot is using a lidar(HOKOYU). I don't know how to connect Gazebo model to ROS. can you help me with this?
How to make the robot navigate in the environment autonomously? Which packages should I use? How to make SWARM robot out of it? Which packages should I use?
I want to place the robot in the factory someplace then the robot has to navigate and build a map out of it and when ever I give a command to go to a place, it should go.
Basically the robot should go to a location (say a) and should pick some load and go to another location (say b) and should drop it there and the robot should communicate with other robots about the map, location of other robots.
Basically I want to make robot as similar to amazon kiva. Can anyone say how can I make it possible? Also please state the packages I need to use. I'm a beginner.
I want my own robot (mobile robot model) to navigate to do the tasks on its own. Please help me.
