how to save obstacle representation with marker

Hi actually we are developing the topological 3D point cloud map using growing neural gas method in ROS. we used Xtion depth information in order to scan the environment and represent the environment into marker visualization using GNG method. Do you know how to save the map representation of marker visualization such as people doing in octomap and RTAB map?
