Hi there, i wonder why rosserial_xbee only works with Series 1 Xbees. Aren't Xbees designed to breake down any communication to a serial communication. So only two pins (Rx and Tx) are needed. In fact of the same pinlayout between the Xbee series all modules should work with ROS?

is support for higher series planned?
