Apollo Cyber to ROS
Hi, I am trying to build the connection between Apollo 6.0 auto to Vires VTD (simulator). VTD support ROS interface. I found the Apollo to Ros package but it was built for Apollo 3.5 https://github.com/AuroAi/apollo_ros_bridge Now I have two options:
Make the ApollotoRos working with Apollo 6.0 The package“s author does not continue his work anymore. Does anyone know this package and the way to upgrade it to Apollo higher version? Secondly, they mention that they have not implemented the timer for the package. Does anyone know how the timer will impact the communication between Apollo and simulator?
Use the different method like Python API, C ++ API or Client Server Can anyone suggest me the proper way to do it in both sides Apollo and VTD?
I do not have the experience in this area, I appreciate if someone could give an idea or insight about this topic. Thank you.
