multi robot simulation (w/Lidar) in Stage

Hi, I am trying to simulate a set of robots (with lidar) in Stage (Ubuntu 14.04, ROS Indigo). I was following the examples in the package "multirobotcollisionavoidance (http://wiki.ros.org/multirobotcollisionavoidance) but in RViz the robots appear in a different location than in Stage. I also have a multi robot simulation for a set of 4 turtlebots, but they use a depth camera and I only need a Lidar sensor (not sure how to change the sensor for the turtlebots without breaking the simulation).

Can anyone offer some guide on how to get this working? My final goal is to use Deep RL with this. Thanks!!
