Scan matcher as odometry source package recommendation
I want to use laser scan matching to provide odometry to the slam toolbox.
Is there a recommendation for an active package available for ROS2 (foxy) or maybe at least ROS1 noetic?
https://github.com/ccny-ros-pkg/scan_... seems to be inactive. I checked the various rosdistro: distribution.yaml and it seems that since melodic there is no (released) package.
But maybe I am missing something here...
Any recommendations?
